This has got to be the easiest thing to make and yes, it's really nice. Going to become a staple week night dish in our house.
Ingredients
250g macaroni
250g grated mature cheddar (or red Leicester or mix of both)
250ml evaporated milk
2 large eggs
Grating of fresh nutmeg
Salt
Pepper
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cook the macaroni, drain and then put back into the hot pan.
Mix the cheese, evaporated milk, eggs and nutmeg in a bowl.
Pour the cheese sauce over the macaroni, stir well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into a shallow dish and bake for about 10-15 mins, until bubbling on top.
